Oakland Zoo Walkers – thank you!

It was a jungle out there! Here is a recap of the day and a link to photos:

A little fog and some misting didn’t deter Walkers from converging on the Oakland Zoo, on Sunday, October 14, 2012, for JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes. Kids and parents alike had a tremendous time walking and viewing the animals, frolicking in the meadow (even some tossing of a football or two) and taking advantage of a great day.

The photos reflect on how much fun everyone had as well as a testament to a very successful day for raising funds to find a cure for T1D. To date, more than $375,000 has been raised to benefit T1D research. There’s still time to donate and help us meet our goal! JustĀ click here.

Thank you for your participation at the Walk to Cure Diabetes and for your support of JDRF.Ā  And stay tuned for details about the 2013 Walk Season!
