JDRF and CarbDM invite you to a morning of sharing and learning with Jeannine Leverenz, RN, CDE of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University at our Diabetes 101 program. This program, hosted by a T1D mom, is for parents of newly diagnosed children and newly diagnosed adults (within the first year of diagnosis) who are interested in gaining more insight into what’s next and moving forward.

Find support and information to help you seek out resources about topics such as balancing a healthy diet and maintaining a normal life for you and your child; sick day management and understanding ketones; finding support and resources to help along the way; school rights; and so much more!

Jeanine will give a short presentation about how to adapt to life after diagnosis and she will be available for an open Q&A on everything and anything diabetes.
