Join us at this event for beginners, tech geeks and everyone in between. You’ll come away with new and innovative ways to manage T1D using today’s available technology. Speaker Bio

Brandon Arbiter currently serves as a member of the the JDRF Greater Bay Area Chapter Board and previously as the San Francisco Branch President. He is the VP of product and business development at Tidepool, the open source, non-profit effort to reduce the burden of diabetes through technology. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at age 27. At the time, he was running the data management and analytics practices at New York’s online grocer, FreshDirect. Before joining Tidepool, Brandon developed a data driven approach to meal bolusing with his diabetes app, “Nutshell,” that gives patients the information they need to make the right decisions about their dosing strategies.

Brandon has become an outspoken member of the patient community, advocating greater access to data and the expanding role of software in health management. He is focused on making diabetes technology smarter, safer, and more accessible to patients everywhere.
