Learn About T1D Screening

Being diagnosed with T1D means a lifetime of dependence on insulin and careful management to avoid dangerous blood-sugar highs and lows. Now, families can use testing to begin to determine their T1D risk, so they have time to plan, prepare and prevent serious complicatios from an unexpected diagnosis.

Where’s Rufus?

Our pal Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes®, has been keeping busy this fall, visiting newly diagnosed children and their families, tagging along for check-ups, and spreading awareness about life with type 1 diabetes (T1D).

But he’s never too busy to have some fun! In our new game, Where’s Rufus, we’ve hidden our fuzzy friend in a handful of everyday locations—your job is to find his hiding spot!

Lets Go!

See the progress we’ve made together on our T1D advancements Timeline
