South Florida Chapter

Welcome to the South Florida Chapter

of the

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The South Florida Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) was formed in 1991 by a group of dedicated individuals who joined together with a commitment of time and effort to raise funds to find the cure for diabetes and its complications through research.  The Chapter serves Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.

The Chapter conducts numerous successful major fundraising events throughout the year.  Donors can also contribute to diabetes research through planned giving and become members of the Beta Society.

We also provide the Bag of Hope to our South Florida Community to provide support and educational materials to newly diagnosed children, adults, and their families.

Thanks to our dedicated Board of Directors, volunteers, sponsors and donors, the South Florida Chapter has a goal to raise more than $1.3 million for diabetes research during the 2007-2008 fiscal year .

For Information on how to become involved or to participate in a 2009 Walk to Cure Diabetes event, please call the JDRF office at (954) 565-4775 in Broward or (305) 350-9990.

THANK YOU!
