JDRF is pleased to announce that International Chairman Mary Tyler Moore has been named the recipient of this year’s Screen Actors Guild (SAG)’s Life Achievement Award. The award will be presented at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards which premieres on TNT and TBS “live” on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 8pm ET/7pm CST. JDRF will be included in SAG’s video tribute to Mary that night.

To congratulate Mary on this occasion and to recognize the awareness she has brought to JDRF and the need to cure, treat, and prevent T1D, we have posted the “Forever Moore” video tribute below. Additionally, we would like to invite JDRF supporters, volunteers, board members, and staff to send messages of congratulations to Mary by emailing them to forevermoore@jdrf.org. We will be collecting all of the emails and putting them into a commemorative book for Mary.
