Our coach, Elizabeth Hamilton, recently explained why JDRF and the the Ride to Cure means so much to her:

I am so excited to be a JDRF Ride coach this season for the Greater Dallas Chapter! I have been a runner for many years making the transition to road biking and triathlons about 5 years ago. After our youngest son was diagnosed with T1D in August 2014, my husband, Rob, and I became involved with the JDRF and rode our first Ride to Cure Diabetes in Lake Tahoe in 2015. This will be our 4th ride season.

I am a registered nurse originally from Virginia. Rob and I have 3 children, Andrew (16), Grace (13) and William (10). Grace is excited join us for her first JDRF ride this season – she will be training for Amelia Island!

I am inspired by the dedication and commitment of all of the JDRF riders, staff, and coaches.  I look forward to serving as a ride coach this year and seeing everyone out on the road!
