Young Leadership Committee

The YLC is a group of young professionals dedicated to JDRF’s mission to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D).  The committee hosts various fundraising, networking, and social events throughout the year that attracts many young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40.  Recognizing the value of young professionals, the YLC supports JDRF through events that are dynamic, energetic, and fun.

Members of the YLC are given the opportunity to take part in the inception, planning and ultimately the success of several social functions throughout the year aimed at raising both funds and awareness for JDRF.

JDRF is the leading global organization focused on T1D research.  JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered.  By being a  part of the JDRF North Texas YLC you can help us find a cure for T1D.

The North Texas YLC is affiliated with the JDRF North Texas and Oklahoma Chapter. Approximately 80 cents of every dollar given to JDRF are allocated to diabetes research and education.  The North Texas and Oklahoma Chapter is one of the largest chapters in the country and we are committed to keeping the momentum going strong until a cure is found.
