Advocacy Chair

Ann Brumbaugh

Ann’s daughter, Lucy, was diagnosed with T1D October 11, 2011, when she was almost ten years old.  In the past two and a half years, Ann, her husband Pat, and their nine year old son, Jack (not T1D), have participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes and sponsored the Hope for a Cure Gala.

Ann grew up in Virginia and received her undergraduate degree from William and Mary and J.D. from the University of Michigan. She is a former Assistant Attorney General who has recently set up her own law practice in Decatur, Georgia, specializing in education, election, and criminal law.  Having worked or lived in and around government her entire life, Ann is excited to support JDRF in her new role as Advocacy Chair!
