Quad Cities Informal Coffee/Support Group:
Do you have a child with type 1 diabetes? Are you wanting to meet other families that are going through the same thing as you? Or maybe your child is wanting to know that they are not alone in being a kid with type 1 diabetes.
You are invited to an informal get together to meet other families in the QCA who are living with children with type 1 diabetes. This group started in February 2013 and we are meeting monthly. We look forward to meeting more families in the area ourselves and hope you can join us!
RSVPs are appreciated, but not necessary. Please contact us if you have questions.

Join the parents support group and share your trials and tribulations with other parents of children with type 1 diabetes. We will meet the 3rd Thursday of every month as an opportunity to connect with each other, share experiences, and offer support to each other as we strive to live life fully while helping our children maintain their health and happiness with the hope that one day there will be a cure.
Meetings will be held at the YMCA – Northeast Branch (8451 Orth Road, Loves Park, IL 61111), and are facilitated by Jan Juric, MSW. For more information, call (815) 494-5969.
