South Florida Chapter

Welcome to the South Florida Chapter!

The South Florida Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) was formed by a group of dedicated individuals who joined together with a commitment of time and effort to raise funds to find the cure for diabetes and its complications through research.  The Chapter serves Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.

If you or someone in your family has diabetes please look at the Family Support pages for some ways that we can help, or pick up the phone and call us.  The chapter has a monthy support group where families meet to chare thought feelings and experiences. In addition, we run a family to family mentor program that helps newly diangosed families to connect with other families living with diabetes.

For information on how to become involved or to participate in a 2010 Walk to Cure Diabetes event, please call the JDRF office at (954) 565-4775 in Broward or (305) 350-9990.
