January 5, 2009 Good News: United Issues New CGM Coverage Policy United, which serves 70 million Americans, has just issued a great new policy which provides long-term coverage for continuous glucose monitoring for people with type 1 diabetes who are following a physician ordered treatment plan and either have been unable to achieve optimum glycemic control or have experienced hypoglycemia unawareness.
