Northern New England Branch serving Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont The Northern New England Branch is part of the New England Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Branch covers Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The Northern New England Branch works to raise money to support JDRF's mission: To find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Fundraising in the Northern New England Branch includes five Walk to Cure Diabetes events, the New Hampshire Granite Gala, and Third Party Events.

Congratulations to 2009 Children's Congress Maine and Vermont Representatives: Cole Buchanan, Falmouth, ME Hannah Ryder, Cumberland, ME Allison Giroux, Hinesburg, VT Held in odd-numbered years, JDRF's Children's Congress brings more than 150 children with type 1 diabets and their families to Washington, D.C. Children's Congress participants represent all 50 states and the District of Columbia. They meet with Members of Congress and other key federal decision-makers to help educate them about the critical need for federal funding for type 1 diabetes research.
