Our local JDRF chapter is embarking on a campaign to fund the Artificial Pancreas Project (APP). The Artificial Pancreas is a closed loop system that will enable a person with diabetes to maintain normal glucose levels by providing the right amount of insulin at the right time, just as the pancreas does in non-diabetic individuals. Considered one of the most promising and exciting research opportunities to date, the artificial pancreas has the potential to dramatically improve the lives of people with type 1 and insulin-dependent type 2 diabetes. |

Consultant Meg McGinn will donate $20.00 to JDRF for each At Home America homeshow! Contact Meg to schedule a homeshow and let her know that you saw this offer on the JDRF Chapter's website. Check out the fabulous items for Tabletop and Entertaining from At Home America by visiting Meg's website: www.athome.com/mmcginn!
