JDRF's Annual Report 2007

JDRF's sole reason for existing is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications. To that end, over the course of 2007, JDRF made significant strides in accelerating the pace of research leading to a cure. We committed $137 million to more than 700 projects, including $64 million to new projects. As a result, our total funding for diabetes research grants since our founding in 1970 now exceeds $1.16 billion.
