Nearly 6,000 got WILD FOR THE CURE
at the 21st Annual Walk to Cure Diabetes
Last fall nearly 6,000 dedicated individuals and volunteers joined together at the 21st Annual Walk to Cure Diabetes. The chapter raised over $1,100,000!
"Over the past seven years I have met so many wonderful team captains and walkers that have shown tremendous heart and dedication that I know we should be able to not only meet but surpass our goals," said Doug Rouse, Chapter Executive Director. "Our past success and our driving force has been our volunteers and event participants that have made finding a cure for diabetes their top priority. The chapter staff is here to help guide teams and walkers in reaching their fullest potential."
In 2009, walkers had three great sites to choose from.
