In 2008, our walkers raised close to $800,000 by walking to find a cure for diabetes. Thank you to all the volunteers for a job well done! We appreciate your time and dedication. Come this year and put your feet, once again, where your heart is.
This year's Walk to Cure Diabetes is sure to be a success! We have had great leadership in all three of our Walks. The Walk to Cure Diabetes is a walkathon held in more than 200 locations throughout the year benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. More than four hundred thousand men, women, and children-including those from 5,000 large corporations and local companies along with 3,500 family teams-will participate this year. The Walk raised almost $70 million last year for diabetes research.

With your help, we are moving research from the laboratory bench to the patient's bedside, translating scientific advances into longer, healthier lives for those with diabetes. With your help, we are moving closer to our goal ... a cure for diabetes and its complications.
