GENERAL TYPE 1 DIABETES INFORMATION:
The National Diabetes Information Clearinghouse (NDIC)
A service of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Established in 1978, the clearinghouse provides information about type 1 diabetes to people with diabetes and to their families, health care professionals, and the public.

Type 1 Diabetes Dictionary
This dictionary from the NIDDK defines words that are often used when people talk or write about type 1 diabetes (juvenile diabetes). It is designed for people who have type 1 diabetes and for their families and friends.

The National Diabetes Education Program
The National Diabetes Education Program is a federally-sponsored initiative that involves public and private partners to improve the treatment and outcomes for people with type 1 diabetes, to promote early diagnosis, and to prevent the onset of diabetes.

CDC's Diabetes and Health Resource Page

The Penn State Retina Research Group Introduction to Diabetic Retinopathy
