Walk to Cure! Register as an individual or form a Walk team and pool your resources! Participate with your family, friends, and co-workers under one team name: your fundraising totals are sure to increase! As a team captain, you'll be invited to pre-Walk events to help jump-start your team. JDRF will help you every step of the way! Check out fundraising tips to help your team raise $$$. But everyone begins by signing up! |
| Sponsor a Walk! Corporate sponsorship is a terrific way for companies to meet their marketing goals. It helps generate exposure and is a great way to support the community. If you think your employer may be interested in sponsorship, we can work to help get them involved. | |
| Buy sneakers at your local Hy-Vee, Marshall, or Walgreens store or sale sneakers to raise money for a cure. Click here to view a video with Ed Wilson, WHO-TV. You can save and email the video to your friends and family to spread the word about sneaker sales. Sneakers are a good way to build excitement about the Walk in your community while raising research dollars. Contact JDRF to learn more! | |
| Become a Walk Volunteer or join the Walk Committee. Time commitments vary and work around your schedule. Also we are looking for Youth Ambassadors, children with type 1 diabetes that can represent their community or a local company. Youth Ambassadors help employees and communities understand the everyday challenges of living with diabetes. |
We are within walking distance of a cure!
