2010 Cheer for the Cure!

Entry Fee

$125 per team. The proceeds from the competition will go to the

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

$5 per spectator for the day.

Team Check-In

Morning Session: 8:00am

Afternoon Session: 11:00am

Each member of your team must have a completed and signed medical release/liability form to compete.

Competition Time

Morning Session 9:00am

Afternoon Session 1:00pm

Performance times will be emailed to coaches by 5pm on Friday Feb. 26th

Please inform parents that performance time is an estimation.

Competition Guidelines

Routine must be no longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds in length. A time variable penalty will be assessed for overage.

Routine must contain a mount, (unless designated non-mounting), a team cheer, and jump, with the exception of All Star, College and Dance divisions.

Coaches must furnish their own music on a good quality CD. Please provide one coach to be at sound area.

No props other than pom-poms and signs allowed.

All Teams to follow National Federation Safety Guidelines or USASF guideline. Major point deductions will be assessed for each infraction.

There will be a matted practice area available. Practice schedule will be sent out!

Awards

Awards will be given based upon number of teams in each division. There will be a grand champion /division champion for the following: Elementary/Middle School, Jr. Dance, Sr. Dance, Jr. All Star, Sr. All Star, JV, Varsity, College. One team will be awarded Overall Grand Champion.

Completely fill out the registration form below. Make sure to include the number of participants on the team, if you are a non-mounting team as well as the coach's e-mail and phone number! Registration Fee: Check or money order made payable to JDRF.

Registration is due February 18th, 2010!
