The 13th Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Pfister Hotel Grand Ballroom. The Living and Giving Award will be presented to honoree Ford Titus, President and CEO of ProHealth Care for his commitment and efforts towards promoting health and delivering extraordinary health care in our community.
"Wild for the Cure!" featuring an African Safari theme promises to be an untamed evening starting with a silent auction, raffle and cocktail reception, followed by dinner, Fund-A-Cure and entertainment by Becca and the Boys.
There will be a moment after the live auction when the room is still and the story of hope unfolds...we call it Fund-A-Cure. It is the opportunity to donate directly to research and fund the science that will transform charity and change the lives of our families and friends with type 1 diabetes. If you are unable to attend, we welcome and appreciate your support of Fund-A-Cure. We hope you will join us as we endeavor to increase the pace of science and focus on the main thing...to find a cure...fast. Proceeds from this year's Fund-A-Cure will go towards a grant in honor of Ford Titus benefitting one of JDRF's Cure Therapeutics: Metabolic Control, and the Artificial Pancreas Project.
