You Are JDRF Photo Campaign

You Walk. You Ride. You Innovate. You Lead. You Advocate. You Partner. You Inspire. You Are JDRF!  If you would like to be featured as one of our JDRF T1D Champions, visit the link below to
submit your photo and story. Let us know why YOU are JDRF. Examples of this moment are: an inspirational moment at a JDRF event, of an individual fundraiser, JDRF family and friends pitching in to achieve goals or your everyday life and how you or your loved one lives the JDRF mission.
Selected photos will be displayed at the National Office and highlighted on TypeOneNation social media platforms!

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: JDRF will be accepting photos until December 1st. Please submit photos here.

WHAT TO SUBMIT: Most modern digital camera photos easily exceed our minimum recommended dimensions. Just set your camera to 3 megapixels or more. (For products with larger print sizes, such as Canvas Prints and poster-sized prints, use higher resolution. Using larger than 10 megapixels isn’t really necessary!)

What does image resolution mean?
Resolution refers to the number of pixels in an image. Resolution is sometimes referred to by the width and height of the image as well as the total number of pixels in the image. For example, an image that is 1600 pixels wide and 1200 pixels high (1600×1200) contains 1,920,000 pixels (or almost 2 Megapixels).

For photos from Facebook:
Photos uploaded to Facebook are automatically resized for storage, so when imported to Shutterfly, they may not have sufficient resolution for larger templates. We can adjust our layouts to fit the resolution of these photos but recommend you use the original photos if you have them available (such as on your computer). Our recommendation is to supply images at: 2000×1600 pixels, 3 megapixels or more.

Caption information should include:
Location (City, State/Province, Country)
Detailed caption of subject matter (i.e. JDRF event name)

HOW TO SUBMIT: All images must be submitted electronically in a .JPEG .jpg, or.png form by filling out the form at this link. If you have questions, please reach out to mission@jdrf.org.

SELECTION: Photos will be judged on impact on the JDRF Mission, inspirational power, originality, photographic quality, overall impact, and artistic merit. Judging will be conducted by a panel of JDRF staff members and volunteers. The Panel will evaluate all valid entries and choose a selection of photos that best fit the above criteria. Once the photos have been rotated out, they will be sent to the submitter or the home Chapter.
