12:45 – 1:00 Check-In

Check in early and visit one-on-one with various insulin and continous glucose monitor representatives.

1:00 – 1:30 Welcome and JDRF Research Update

Research Volunteer and past JDRF Lincoln and Greater Nebraska Board President, Doug Durham, will share the latest advances in T1D Research.

1:30 – 2:20 All About the Pumps & CGM

Learn all about the new innovations available to better control your T1D and lessen the burden of this disease on your daily life. Diabetes Supply Center can also check that YOUR out-of-pocket benefits before the event and share that information with you on the 8th.

2:30 – 3:00 We’ve All Been There

Come with questions and hear tips on managing T1D from parents of children, teens, and young adults who have all been there.

3:00 – 3:30 Emotional Side of T1D

Angel Nichols is a therapist at Bridge Counseling and mother of a child living with T1D. Angel will discuss Type 1 Diabetes impact emotionally and ways to cope with the disease through all different stages of life.


3:00 – 3:30 For the T1D Caregiver

T1D effects more than just the patient. During this session we will discuss skills and best practices for those who provide care and support for someone living with T1D.


Children and teens are welcome to attend sessions.

Kids Camp will be provided, offering various activities and opportunities to meet other young people impacted by T1D.

We hope you can join us for a day of learning and meeting others who live with T1D in and around the surrounding communities!
