The Metro Detroit/Southeast Michigan Chapter of JDRF announces that MSX International, a corporate partner in the 2015 Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit, has designated JDRF as the charity that will benefit from its involvement in the Bowl game.
This partnership will allow up to 100 JDRF supporters to attend the game and enjoy top-level college football to thank them for their roles in the effort to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. The Chapter plans to give away one pair of tickets to the game via a contest on its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/jdrfmichiganeast.
The 2015 Quick Lane Bowl is a postseason collegiate football bowl game sponsored by Ford Motor Company’s Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers. This year’s Quick Lane Bowl will feature local favorite Central Michigan University against Big Ten traditional competitor the University of Minnesota on December 28, 2015 at Ford Field in Downtown Detroit. The annual game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
“MSX International has enjoyed our long-standing partnership with Ford, the Quick Lane Tire and Auto Centers, and the JDRF,” said Fred Minturn, President and CEO of MSX International. “We share JDRF’s vision of a world without Type 1 Diabetes and are happy to use our continued sponsorship of the Quick Lane Bowl as a platform to raise awareness for their great work.”
“The evening at the Quick Lane Bowl will be a fun and memorable one for the families and supporters who make our work possible,” said Kate Durak, JDRF Chapter Executive Director. “We appreciate our relationship with MSX International and their commitment to our mission toward a cure and vision of a world without Type 1 Diabetes.”
