Every year an individual, couple or company is presented with the JDRF Northeast Wisconsin Chapter’s prestigious Living & Giving Award. This February, JDRF is honored to recognize Mark & Judi Munroe for over a decade of exceptional dedication to JDRF.

Mark is the President and CEO of Valley Cooperative Association in Greenville.  He is a great visionary, having developed the Valley Family of Companies to be leaders in their respective categories.  Judi is the COO of the Munroe household.  She recently retired after 40+ years at ThedaCare caring for and motivating her patients to live a healthy lifestyle.

Mark and Judi’s volunteer history with JDRF began when their daughter Mackenzie was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at 11 years old.  Today, 18 years later, she is a mother to two beautiful boys and proud owner of Inspire Spa in Appleton.  Mark and Judi credit JDRF for providing hope for Mackenzie (and countless others) as they live with the disease.
