Meet our New Board Members!

At the JDRF Annual Meeting on Monday June 11, 2018 the JDRF Northeast Wisconsin Chapter Board of Directors elected three new Board Members; Dr. Jaceson Hauser, Robert Brockington and Ric Varick.  We look forward to working with them on JDRF’s critical mission to cure, better treat, and prevent T1D.

Dr. Jaceson Hauser

Jaceson Hauser, DC is a chiropractor/owner at De Pere Chiropractic Center in De Pere, WI.  He and his wife Jessica are the proud parents of 4 children. Their oldest daughter Gabby was diagnosed with T1D in July of 2016. Jaceson states that his personal connection and his amazing experiences with JDRF over the past years have fueled a true passion to find a cure.

Robert Brockington

Originally a graduate of BayPort High School and Michigan Technological University, my family and I lived in Kansas City, Suamico, Chicago and have settled into the West De Pere area.   Since our departure from Kansas City 18 years ago, I have been employed by AZCO Inc.  My career has taken me from a Field Project Coordinator to Vice President of Estimating and Business Development.  During this same time my wife, Tamara, and I have been blessed with two active children, Havanah (13) and Cade (10).

Diabetes was introduced into my life in 1989 when my younger sister, Melissa Kampmann, was diagnosed with Type I and then again in 2012 when my niece, Makenna Kampmann, was diagnosed again with Type I.  JDRF offers the ability for me not only to help my family members but others that are affected by diabetes by changing Type I to Type none.  My family and I enjoy traveling, skiing, watching and playing soccer and lacrosse, and spending time at our cabin near Houghton.

Ric Varick

Ric Varick, a native of Freedom WI, attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance.  Ric has over 25 years of operations management experience with Walgreens, and is currently the Store Manager of their Calumet store. With Walgreens, he has championed their volunteer and fundraising efforts for charities like JDRF, Special Olympics and LLS at a store, district and regional level, and will bring that same goal-driven energy to the JDRF board.   Ric has three grown children that live in the area, and a granddaughter that means the world to him.
