Greg Vaughn, former major league baseball player, will be hosting his second annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday, August 28^th. Vaughn, along with stars such as Bobby Jackson, Warren Sapp and Gary Sheffield, will be taking to the greens to benefit JDRF and Type1 Diabetes research.  This two-day event will begin with a VIP reception Sunday evening at Thunder Valley Casino and culminate with an awards dinner and auction following the finish of the tournament.  All proceeds will be used to help raise awareness and give support to those battling against Type 1 Diabetes.

Presented by Mercedes Benz, the winning foursome will compete in a shootout sending the top two winners to the Mercedes Benz Sectional tournament at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
