2007 Research Review
JDRF exists for one reason: to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications. To that end, over the course of fiscal year 2007, JDRF made significant strides in accelerating the pace of research leading to a cure. This report details the overriding strategy for JDRF research in its pursuit of a cure, explains the scientific areas of focus where JDRF looks to advance research, and provides -- in as simple-to-understand language as possible -- some examples of the progress made in FY2007 towards those scientific goals.
