Grab your bike and join us on the scenic shores of Keuka Lake for the 2008 Tour de Keuka!

 
 Thank you to all of you who rode in the 2008 Tour De Keuka!  We had a very successful event.  We more than doubled participation and raised $25,270 in pledges for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

 Supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Join us for the 5th Annual Tour de Keuka, a cycling event and fundraiser benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes region on a 50 mile or 100 mile bike ride while raising money for research efforts that could help save a child's life.

The Tour de Keuka will be held on Saturday, July 25th 2009, starting at the Hammondsport Fire Station located at the Citizen's Hose Company, 8521 State Route 54, Hammondsport, NY, 14840  and will follow a scenic route around Keuka Lake. The 100-mile ride begins at 7:30 A.M and the 50-mile ride begins at 10:30 am.  The Tour de Keuka is a supported ride and sweepers will be present to ensure riders' safety.   Complimentary beverages, fruit and snacks will also be available to all riders at the starting and ending points of each route as well as along the route itself.

 

 

 

The minimum entry fee for each rider is a $50 donation to the Tour de Keuka.  Every rider who raises $200 or more will receive an official Tour de Keuka jersey!

Your scenic summer ride can be as challenging or relaxing as you choose, but with every push of the pedal you'll know you're helping find a cure for juvenile diabetes.

This event will be conducted on area roads which have normal auto/truck traffic.  Please use caution and honor the yellow line rule during the event.  Please refer to the League of American Bicyclists safety page for rules on sharing the road with trucks and automobiles.  Your safety is our number one concern!
