Seeking College Students with Type 1 Diabetes to Participate in Study

Seeking college students with Type 1 Diabetes to participate in a research study about the relationships of mindfulness, body sensations, and stress to type 1 diabetes self management. This study is being conducted in the Biobehavioral Laboratory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing.

 

To be eligible for participation, you must:

  • Be a full time college student (18-25 years old)
  • Have been diagnosed with Type 1 more than one year ago
  • Inject insulin or use an insulin pump
  • Not live in the home of a parent or guardian
  • Speak and Read English

Participation will take about 2-3 hours (1-2 visits)

If you complete the study, you will receive $40.00-$60.00
