Children with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and their parents/guardian are invited to spend the day learning, laughing and making new friends while finding out more about T1D management. There will be a variety of sessions for parents and children to choose from such as: a technology update, nutrition, “Taking Diabetes to School,” and more! The event is also a great opportunity to connect with local T1D families.
We are SO excited about the new sessions we have added this year, including our Guest Speaker, Ken Lonquist! Ken is a children’s singer who is well-known for his funny and imaginative songs, most of which he comes up with on the spot. It is a special treat to have Ken performing at T1D Kids Day, especially since he has type 1 diabetes himself.
T1D Kids Day is for children in grades 4K-8 (Fall 2017) and at least one parent or guardian must attend the event with their child. Every participant will receive a t-shirt, goodie bag, and lunch for FREE!
If you would like to register for T1D Kids Day, please download the registration form and send it in via email or fax.
