Each year, JDRF One Walk® brings together more than 900,000 people to change the future for people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) by raising money for research. With over 200 events and 25,000 teams a year, JDRF One Walk is not only a key revenue driver for our organization, it is the largest diabetes fundraiser in the world. Last year, the three JDRF One Walk events in the Western Wisconsin Chapter raised over $400,000 and we are hoping to increase that in 2018!

JDRF One Walk locations: 

• JDRF One Walk Eau Claire – Sunday, September 9, 2017 at Carson Park
• JDRF One Walk Madison – Sunday, September 23, 2017 at UW Health at the American Center
• JDRF One Walk La Crosse – Sunday, October 7, 2017 at Myrick Park

Registration for all three events will open in mid-March. Whether you’re planning to attend the event as a walker or fundraise online as a virtual walker, make sure you sign up early. The more time you have to fundraise, the higher your totals will be!

A JDRF One Walk Kickoff will be held in Madison in June. This event will allow you to ask any questions you have about the program, learn helpful fundraising tips, and connect with members of the Madison T1D community. Stay tuned for more information!
