The JDRF Western Wisconsin is pleased to introduce our new Executive Director, Tim Newman. With over 18 years of experience, Tim has dedicated his professional career to working in the non-profit sector and is honored to continue serving those in need with such an impactful organization. Most recently, Tim acted as Director of Development and Revenue Innovation at the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade and prior to that served as Director of Community Education and as Director of Marketing and Resource Development for Heifer International. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and his master’s degree from Boston University. Tim is excited to move to Madison and support our chapter’s growth and efforts towards eliminating type 1 diabetes (T1D).

We are thrilled to have Tim join our Western Wisconsin Chapter and think he will be a very good fit with the many different people and groups within the JDRF family – and also within the community more broadly.  Tim’s addition to our team is a great opportunity for our entire chapter. Tim just completed his first day in the Chapter this week, Wednesday, May 2nd. We look forward to welcoming Tim and know you’ll do the same!
