JDRF Alabama Chapter Welcomes Our New Executive Director, Tracy Bennett Smith.


JDRF recently announced that Tracy Bennett Smith has been named the new Executive Director for the Alabama Chapter.

With more than 17 years in the nonprofit industry and 6 years as a consultant, Tracy is sure to provide the Alabama Chapter with great leadership and success. She emphasizes a team approach leadership style with a strong background in communications, marketing, business management, development and community and volunteer relations. Tracy shared, “I’m so proud to be part of this organization and excited to work with our staff and volunteers as we continue to grow this chapter and pursue the vision of a world without T1D.”
