Join other individuals, families, and caregivers affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) at all life stages for a day of education and connection at JDRF’s TypeOneNation Summit. Talk to experts about research advances, meet with other attendees to exchange ideas, and participate in discussions important to you.

We are delighted to host nationally recognized authors:

Dr. Nicole Johnson— Miss America 1999, is a Telly award-winning television journalist and an avid writer. Her articles on living with diabetes and wellness have appeared in Guideposts Magazine, Diabetes Forecast, Diabetes Health, USA Today and on various websites related to diabetes. She has also written seven books on diabetes topics.

Adam Brown – Diagnosed with diabetes in 2001, Adam is a Senior Editor at diaTribe.org and leads Diabetes Technology & Digital Health at Close Concerns. Adam writes and speaks extensively about diabetes and chronic disease, and at age 28, is widely recognized as a leading expert in diabetes technology.

The cost of TypeOneNation is $15 per person 16 years and older.  This includes admission, a continental breakfast, unlimited drinks, snacks and a buffet lunch.  Admission is free to children 3 – 15 years old.  The complimentary KidsZone will available on a limited basis for children aged 3 – 11 years old.
