Nearly 600 guests gathered for JDRF’s black-tie fundraiser, the 2017 Promise Ball-Don’t Stop Believing Gala on Saturday, November 11^th at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale. The evening featured entertainment by Urban Electra, The Party Crashers and local type 1 diabetes warrior and JDRF youth ambassador, Hana Karaman who electrified the stage with her father as they danced the jive to begin the evening.

This year’s event honored the Morris and Abby Friedman Family for their outstanding commitment to JDRF’s vision of a world without type 1 diabetes. Gala co-chairs were Susan Van Dyke, M.D. and Charles Friedman. The event raised $1,255,000 to further type 1 diabetes research. To view more pictures of the wonderful night go here!
