Gala Raised Over $2 Million!!

On Saturday, November 10, the JDRF Arizona Chapter held its 18th annual Promise Ball Gala in Scottsdale and raised more than $2 million to help fund a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

The black-tie fundraiser, which was themed “Together We Shine,” was held at The Phoenician Resort & Spa and included a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, dinner, dancing and entertainment.

This year’s event honored Jessica Gabbay and the Gabbay family for their outstanding commitment to JDRF’s vision of a world without Type 1 diabetes. FOX10 Anchor Syleste Rodriguez served as the Emcee of the event, Letitia Frye returned as the auctioneer and Colleen Steinberg served as the event chair. The special evening culminated with Renee Parsons announcing an impactful $500,000 grant from The Bob & Renee ParsonsFoundation.

It’s not too late to make a fully tax-deductible donation that will

impact our Fund A Cure program.
