JDRF 2019 Children’s Congress
will take place from
July 8-10, 2019, in Washington, D.C.

The youth advocates who make up our Children’s Congress are ages 4 to 17, represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 5 countries. They get to experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help Members of Congress understand what life with type 1 diabetes (T1D) is like, and why research to fund life-changing therapies until a cure can be found is so vital.

Our delegates from Arizona this year are Rachel, age 16, and Grant, age 5. They are both thrilled to represent Arizona and their T1D community, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them representing us! Click on the photos below of our 2 incredible representatives to learn more about them.
