DRF thanks our corporate partner, Schlotzsky’s, for their outstanding support of T1D research! In 2012, Schlotzsky’s helped to raise more than $136K for JDRF. Schlotzsky’s was involved with several JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes events around the country (with employee Walk teams and even an appearance by the Schlotzsky’s mascot Bobby Bun) and held a company-wide “Give-and-Get” coupon promotion for customers who donated to JDRF as well. In this photo, JDRF’s Jill Gonyea accepts a check from Schlotzsky’s President Kelly Roddy and franchise owners Kristen and Mike Pool, whose two Waco, Texas Schlotzsky’s locations were the top fundraising stores across the country.
