lnc_17ctn_jdrf_billboard_416x224_0112_v3Ford Motor Company has a long history of supporting JDRF as an elite global partner. The company has been a valued corporate champion for decades, providing annual research grants, the JDRF Race Car Design contest, vehicle auctions, sponsoring and participating in the JDRF One Walk on a national level. When the great-great-grandson of Henry Ford, Albert Ford, was diagnosed with T1D at the age of four in 1996, the company created the employee-driven Ford Global Action Team (FGAT) for JDRF. By bringing together thousands of volunteers, the FGAT has combined passion and power to raise more than $3 million annually for the past 15 years. Under the leadership of Edsel B. Ford II, with more than 90 fundraising teams across 40 global sites, the company has raised more than $58 million to help JDRF create a world without T1D.

Now, The Lincoln Motor Company, a division of Ford, has joined JDRF Bay Area in the fight against T1D. The company generously sponsored our Tee to Table golf, tennis, and culinary event last year, and is Presenting Sponsor for this yearā€™s event, happening on March 3, 2017 at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. The company is also the golf tournament’s “Hole in One” sponsor, offering exciting prize opportunities.

ā€œFord is proud of its ongoing partnership with JDRF in the fight to cure type 1 diabetes,ā€ says Edsel B. Ford II, Board Director, Ford Motor Company. ā€œWe are excited to participate once again in this unique and successful event to raise funds to support JDRF research.ā€

Ford Motor Company is making a real impact, not only on the local level but globally as well. They truly set the standard for corporate partnership.ā€
