Bay Area Diabetes Summit – We’re Going Virtual!
April 26, 2020, CA
Bay Area Diabetes Summit is Going Virtual! Zoom Video Communications We hope that you and your families remain safe and healthy during these extraordinary times. Our type 1 diabetes (T1D) community continues to connect virtually while sheltering in place. Carb DM and JDRF are teaming up to bring you this year’s Bay Area Diabetes Summit through Zoom Video Communications. This annual Summit is a unique collaboration between leading medical institutions, healthcare providers, and community organizations throughout the Bay Area. There’s something for everyone — whether you’re recently diagnosed or have been living with T1D for years — with unique programming for patients, caregivers, and family members. There will be an "Ask the Endo" session where you will be able to ask questions about topics ranging from non-insulin treatments and pump settings, to family planning and pregnancy with T1D, as well as lingering questions you may have about coronavirus and T1D. All organizations and speakers involved agree that health and well being are top priorities. So while we'll miss connecting with everyone in person, we are looking forward to the opportunity to serve our T1D community in this new way.
