2020 Summer Classic
September 18, 2020, Livermore, CA
9:30 am - 11:30 pm
Honoring The Riley Family
This is the 15th anniversary of this fun and festive event hosted by JDRF. Starting with an amazing day of golf among the vines followed by an evening under the stars with cocktails and silent auction, a truly gourmet dining experience and live auction, and culminating with blow out music and dancing under the stars. JDRF Summer Classic, previously known as Drive for the Cure, was founded in 2006 by Active Charity in partnership with JDRF. Since inception, this event has brought together committed volunteers and supportive members of the community, raising over $5 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. All proceeds from Summer Classic benefit JDRF. This event includes 144 Golf Classic golfers and more than 400 BackSwing Bash evening attendees from the Greater Bay Area, specifically the East Bay who are contributing and supportive members of the JDRF family and local community. Please join us and help us put the fun in fundraising.

Ways to Give
Fund A Cure
Fund A Cure immediately follows the Live Auction portion of the evening. Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with T1D and their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation, which will accelerate life-changing research. Fund A Cure donations will be invested in JDRF’s effective and focused research agenda aimed to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until there is a cure.
