Our New Member Outreach Initiative (NMOI) continues, and this week is especially important for the campaign! Members of Congress are at home on a two-week recess, and this is the best time for you to meet with your new Member of Congress before June!

We have 42 meetings that have occurred or been scheduled, which puts us well on our way to our goal of 60 by June 30. Since the Members are in their home districts for the longest period of time until that date, we want to try to reach that goal by May 1!

If you are interested in coordinating a meeting with your new Member of Congress during this recess, make sure the box is checked on your sign up form! You can also send an email to advocacy@jdrf.org. I will then follow up with you with additional information.
