Save the date for the 9th Annual TypeOneNation Summit on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Bethesda North Marriott. Join us for educational and interactive breakout sessions as well as a robust vendor hall showcasing the latest in diabetes technology, T1D management, and local camps.

Speakers include:

• Andrew Rakeman, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President for Research at JDRF, who will discuss exciting research programs in which JDRF is investing.
• Gary Scheiner, author and world-renowned certified diabetes educator, will speak about the effect of exercise on nutrition and insulin management.
• Dr. Andrew Stewart, MD, Director of the Diabetes Obesity and Metabolism Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will present his research which focuses on understanding and developing novel means for inducing beta cell regeneration.
• Adam Brown, Senior Editor at diaTribe.org, will share updates on the latest in diabetes technology and discuss his personal findings in this rapidly growing and fast-changing area.

Children ages 5-18 are welcome to join the Youth Program at the Summit and enjoy age-appropriate activities and programs throughout the day.

This free community event is open to anyone in the T1D community, however; advanced registration is required. Registration will open in early January.
