Central PA Welcomes Natasha Lewis as Executive Director

JDRF is ecstatic to announce Natasha Lewis as JDRF Central Pennsylvania’s Executive Director.

Natasha Lewis is an experienced non-profit professional who has spent the past twenty plus years working for a variety of service and advocacy organizations.  She has been a fundraiser for fifteen years, beginning her development career in 2002 at the national headquarters of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Baltimore, Maryland.  Natasha’s broad fundraising experience includes database management, grant writing, foundation and corporate relations, annual and major gift fundraising, and direct mail campaigns. She has also conducted workshops on diversity, corporate fundraising, and volunteer management for several fundraising associations.

Prior to accepting the position of Executive Director of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of JDRF International, Natasha has served as Director of Development and Alumni Engagement at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  During her tenure at the law school, Natasha successfully established the law school’s giving program, recruited members of the newly created Board of Advisors and Alumni Association Board, and served as a member of the University’s Senior Leadership Team.  Before moving to Central Pennsylvania, Natasha, a lifelong resident of Baltimore, previously served as Development Director at the Maryland affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Chase Brexton Health Services.

She currently resides with her family in Manchester Township, York County.  She is a member of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and a 2016 graduate of Leadership Harrisburg’s Community Leadership Series.  She also serves as a parent volunteer in the Central York School District and on the board of the Neighborhood Center in Harrisburg.
