JDRF’s 2nd Annual School Spirit Competition

JDRF’s 2nd Annual School Spirit Competition is Here!

Your child’s school can partner with JDRF to support students and families living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in your community and help find a cure!

The school that raises the most money for JDRF by the end of the school year will be crowned the winner and receive a check for 10% of their total!

Your school can raise money to fund life-changing research by choosing one of the fun and easy fundraising below:

Dollars & Dimes for Diabetes – Create a challenge between classrooms, grades or other groups to see who can collect the most donations!

Dress Down for JDRF – Designate a day when students can “dress down” for a minimum donation to JDRF. You can even pick a fun theme like Sock it to Diabetes (where students can wear crazy decorated socks), Crazy Hair Day or Pajama Day.

Kicking it for a Cure – Line your school halls with JDRF paper sneakers! Sneaker sales can last a day, a week or more!

Create Your Own – Get creative and design your own fundraiser! You can also donate the proceeds from an existing event to JDRF.

JDRF can provide promotional and educational materials and supplies. Your event(s) can take place any time before the end of the school year. The winning school will be notified on Friday, June 17, 2016. All participating schools will receive recognition on the JDRF chapter website and on social media.
