We are excited to introduce Dr. David L. Steinberg, the Event Chair for the JDRF One Walk, Las Vegas 2016. Building on the strong corporate partnerships and supportive family and school teams that helped us exceed our goal for the 2015 One Walk, we anticipate having another successful year with the contribution of Dr. Steinberg and his team at Steinberg Diagnostic.

David L. Steinberg , MD, FACR, FACNM is the Managing Partner of Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) with 7 imaging centers located throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson area. SDMI employs 27 physicians and over 375 employees.

After completing his Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at UCSF in 1985, Dr. Steinberg went on to complete an Interventional & Cardiovascular Fellowship at Alexandra Hospital in Alexandria, VA in 1986. From 1986 to 1988, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Interventional Radiology at George Washington University.

Dr. Steinberg is certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. In 1995, he was awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications by the American Board of Radiology in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, as well as Neuroradiology. He is certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and is a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Medicine.

In 2014, Dr. Steinberg received one of the highest honors that the American College of Radiology (ACR) can bestow on a radiologist, that of Fellow of the American College of Radiology.

David and his wife Betsi have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, traveling, skiing, hiking, and bicycling; but mostly enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr. Steinberg is a recognized leader in the Southern Nevada community and we are thrilled that he is bringing his long standing support of the Nevada Chapter to help us reach our fundraising goal for the JDRF One Walk, Las Vegas and help us fund the research to turn Type One into Type None.
