The 2018 Ride to Cure Diabetes season has officially begun!

Registration is NOW open –www.ride.jdrf.org

JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes is a charitable bike ride that to-date has raised over $47 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The Ride gives cyclists of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to support breakthroughs that transform the lives of people with T1D, until there is a cure.

JDRF Ride isn’t just a bike ride: it’s an experience where hundreds of riders come together from all over the world to make new friendships, enjoy the unparalleled camaraderie of the Ride community and raise money to help end T1D.

Last year, the Eastern PA Chapter had 40 riders participating in 42 rides and raising over $175,000!! That is the most riders AND most fundraising we’ve had in one season!

We’re raising the bar and looking for an even greater number of riders in 2018. Join us as a Rider and help us reach out goal!

2018 Locations and Dates

La Crosse, Wisconsin– August 9-12

The La Crosse Ride is one of our flattest courses, and features lengths ranging from 20 to 100 miles. As you cross the Mississippi and ride south through Minnesota and Iowa, you’ll have the Mississippi River on your left and the stunning Midwest on your right.

    Loveland, Colorado– August 23-26

Skirting the Colorado Front Range, this route starts east of Loveland and travels through the downtown area before moving into the country. The route follows many of the same roads used by the USA Pro Challenge professional race while avoiding the major hills. Beautiful views of the Rockies will be off to the west as riders travel on two lane county roads. The high point (literally!) of the ride will be the gradual, and beautiful, climb up Buckhorn Road – followed by a descent and flat to rolling roads back to the finish.

Saratoga Springs, NY– September 13-16

This Ride starts in downtown Saratoga Springs and follows the Hudson River north on the beautiful country roads of upstate New York. Riders can refill water bottles and stop for snacks at rest stops every ten miles.

This moderately challenging course features rolling hills.

       Amelia Island, Florida– October 4-7

The Amelia Island Ride to Cure Diabetes will feature the best of the coastal South. Flat roads, Spanish Moss and ocean views are just a few of the highlights that will welcome riders to this beautiful location. Starting out with a northerly spin through the island, riders will experience the scenic roads through Fernandina Beach. A turn south will take the ride off the island and down Highway A1A, with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sold Out!! Death Valley, CA– October 18-21

Death Valley is officially SOLD OUT!

      Santa Fe, NM– November 1-4

Santa Fe is a historic city that’s known for its beauty, charm and culture. Our newest JDRF Ride includes multiple routes up to 100 miles through the moderately hilly, scenic terrain of the American southwest.
