1) The JDRF One Walk will be here before you know it. If you have not registered you walk team, go ahead and take that first step by going to walk.jdrf.org/fortworth.

2) And then, take the plunge and join us at the 2019 Family Fun Event kicking off the JDRF One Walk! This year, we have a real treat for you and your family. We’ve rented out the Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center just for our families. Come enjoy the cool water and the warm friendships of other T1D families. We’ll do a quick meeting to give you all the info you need about the 2019 JDRF One Walk, and then enjoy time socializing. See you there!

3) We want to know why you walk! Shoot a quick video (under 1 minute please) of you or you and your family and tell us why you walk. If video is not your thing, then send us a paragraph or two, along with a couple of pictures. Send your #whyiwalk videos and stories to bknott@jdrf.org. We will post them on Why I Walk Wednesdays. We can’t wait to share your stories.

4) Calling all corporations! We need local businesses both as sponsors for the walk, but also as corporate teams. If you know of a business that is searching for a way to give back to the community, or is looking for a team building activity, please send their names to bknott@jdrf.org. We’ll send them some information on way to be involved which will be fun, but will help us strive to turn type one into type none.
