Floyd’s 99 Barbershop

We would like to extend our arms and give a big JDRF thank you hug to Floyd’s 99 Barbershops in Fort Worth, Bedford, and Flower Mound. They just finished up their sneaker campaign with us and we saw lots of sneakers that had been sold on the walls and windows of all three stores. This campaign was a huge success this year. Thank you to all the Floyd’s 99 Barbershop employees for making it so much fun; and thank you for those who bought the coupon books or sneakers!

Walgreens

We would like to thank all participating Walgreens stores (and there are over 100 participating locations), for partnering with JDRF Greater Fort Worth / Arlington again this year to raise money for the JDRF One Walk! Last year the Walgreens stores in our area raised a phenomenal $30,863.51. Their goal is over $35,000 this year. Please stop into a Walgreens location to continue your #T1DShoppingSpree and thank them for making at difference to fight T1D.

Marshalls

Thank you to our partner Marshalls who is running their JDRF fundraising campaign from August 25 through September 28! Since 1994, Marshalls has donated more than $38 million to JDRF, supporting the mission to accelerate life changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. Thank you to our partner Advance Auto Parts who is running their JDRF fundraising campaign from September 1 through September 30. For the last 26 years, Advance Auto Parts has been an amazing JDRF partner, raising over $44M for T1D research. JDRF and Ford

The Ford Global Action Team is raffling a one-of-a-kind 2020 Shelby GT500 Chroma Caviar on November 14, 2019. The proceeds go to support JDRF. On the local level, the Greater Fort Worth Chapter has tickets that you can purchase or you can come by and pick up tickets to sell as a fundraiser for you walk team. Tickets are $10 each, and you can purchase or sell as many as you want (maximum of 75,000 tickets will be sold, cash or checks made payable to JDRF only). You do not have to pay for unsold tickets, but please take the number you think you want to sell so that others may take advantage of this fundraiser.
